Job Description

An established and growing company in the material handling and industrial equipment industry is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join its team. This is a customer-facing role requiring a high degree of professionalism, technical expertise, and independence. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on industrial equipment such as forklifts, lift trucks, and other material handling machinery.

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and manuals.

  • Interact with customers to provide service updates and recommendations in a professional manner.

  • Maintain accurate records of all service work, parts used, and time spent.

  • Maintain a company vehicle, tools, and inventory.

  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards at all times.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in field service, equipment repair, or a related mechanical role.

  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Technical degree or certification preferred, but not required.
