Job Description

Seeking an experienced Remote COMMERCIAL CLEARANCE OFFICER.    

A prominent full-service Settlement & Escrow Company is expanding and hiring a COMMERCIAL CLEARANCE OFFICER.  

The Commercial Clearance Officer will be responsible for overseeing the timely close of commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and 2-5 years of relevant experience in the title industry.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, required. Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
  • 2-5 years commercial title industry experience. NJ, NY, and/or PA experience required.
  • Computer experience, including Microsoft Office suite. Microsoft Teams a plus.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Regular communication with Attorneys, Banks, Developers, and Underwriters,
  • Prepare Pro Formas, endorsements, title policies,
  • Review of LLC documents, Corporation Documents, and Partnership documents,
  • Review of Trusts,
  • Review of Estate documents,
  • Review and preparation of Affidavits,
  • Use expertise and knowledge to resolve title commitment requirements that the Clearance team is not authorized to handle,
  • Address all client requests, and parties associated with the transition, in a timely manner,
  • Seek referral business to expand your book of business,
  • Provide coverage to fellow team members as needed.
