Position Overview: The firm is seeking Associate Attorneys with 1–10 years of civil litigation experience to join its Irvine or San Diego offices. Candidates with a personal injury defense background are preferred, though those with strong general civil litigation or plaintiff-side experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse caseload within the firm’s civil litigation defense practice.
Conduct discovery, take and defend depositions, and draft motions.
Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial proceedings.
Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on complex cases.
Maintain regular communication with clients and opposing counsel.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
1–10 years of experience in civil litigation (personal injury preferred).
Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
Work Environment:
Junior Attorneys (1–3 years): Onsite
Mid-Level Attorneys: Hybrid
Senior Attorneys: Remote
Billable Expectation:
Minimum of 160 hours per month (most attorneys bill between 160–180 hours).
