Business Litigation Attorney – 7+ Years
Location: Houston, TX (In-Office)
Compensation: $180,000 – $275,000 base + bonus
Benefits: Employer-paid health, dental, and vision | 401(k) with match | 10 PTO days + 5 sick days in year one
A respected, trial-focused boutique is seeking a Business Litigation Attorney to join its commercial litigation team. This position is ideal for a Business Litigation Attorney who wants to take ownership of strategy, handle significant cases, and work closely with an experienced litigation group. Advancement opportunities are based on performance; no portable book of business is required.
The group handles sophisticated commercial disputes across a diverse client base.
About the Role
As a Business Litigation Attorney in this practice, you will manage complex commercial disputes from initial evaluation through final resolution. Matters may include contract disputes, business torts, construction and real estate claims, fiduciary duty matters, partnership disputes, insurance coverage litigation, and select appellate work. The position provides meaningful courtroom experience, including depositions, hearings, motion practice, trial preparation, trial, and settlement negotiations.
Qualifications
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar
• Minimum of 7+ years of commercial/business litigation experience
• First or second chair trial experience required
• TRO/TI experience preferred
• Strong research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a litigation-focused team
• Must be on-site in Houston, Texas
