Our well-established and growing engineering consulting firm is seeking a professional, experienced Senior Civil Engineer with Professional Engineer (PE) licensure to lead municipal, water infrastructure and land development projects from concept through permitting, design, and approvals. This person will be a key leader in dynamic projects and responsible for maintaining and applying knowledge of engineering principles and codes to ensure all projects are completed properly. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee land development projects from initial planning through final approvals.
- Lead design efforts for grading, stormwater management, utility infrastructure, and site plans.
- Supervise project teams, including designers, engineers, and technical staff.
- Coordinate client communication, municipal coordination, and regulatory permitting processes.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
- Review and approve technical engineering designs and contractor documentation.
- Serve as the primary technical and ethical representative for the firm on key client engagements.
Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 10+ years of land development / site design experience.
- Strong project management and client relationship skills.
- Proficiency with Civil 3D, stormwater modeling, and regulatory permitting processes.
- Excellent judgment, leadership presence, and communication skills.
- Experience with stormwater design, drainage, and municipal projects
- Familiarity with capital improvement projects
- Comfortable maning people and projects
