Location: Nationwide Travel (CST & EST Projects)Compensation: Base salary up to ~$130,000 (commensurate with experience) + travel package

Position Overview

A well-established, nationally active commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead large-scale ground-up construction projects. This role is ideal for a Superintendent who thrives on complex, fast-paced industrial builds and is comfortable managing multi-acre sites across multiple regions.

Project Profile

  • Ground-up projects $20M+ (larger preferred)

  • Warehouse / Distribution Centers

  • Cold Storage Facilities

  • Manufacturing & Food Manufacturing Plants

  • Extensive use of tilt-wall and precast construction

  • Large, multi-acre sites with aggressive schedules

Travel Requirements

  • Full-time travel role

  • Projects primarily in Central and Eastern Time Zones

  • Home every 4 weeks (travel expenses covered)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead field operations from mobilization through closeout

  • Manage site safety, schedule, quality control, and subcontractors

  • Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, and inspectors

  • Oversee tilt-wall and precast installation

  • Drive schedule adherence on large, complex sites

  • Maintain high standards for workmanship and compliance

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent on $20M+ ground-up commercial/industrial projects

  • Strong background in warehouse, cold storage, or manufacturing construction

  • Hands-on experience with tilt-wall and precast systems

  • Ability to manage large crews and multiple subcontractors

  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary up to ~$130K (depending on experience)
