Senior Superintendent – Commercial Construction (Ground-Up Projects)
A well-established commercial contractor is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale ground-up construction projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader who thrives on complex builds and takes ownership of project execution from start to finish.
The ideal candidate is a highly experienced Superintendent with a proven track record of managing large crews, coordinating multiple trades, and delivering projects on time while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead on-site operations for large-scale ground-up commercial projects · Manage multiple subcontractors and coordinate complex trade sequencing · Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with Project Managers · Drive production and ensure milestones are met · Enforce job site safety and OSHA compliance · Conduct quality control inspections throughout project lifecycle · Identify and resolve field challenges proactively · Communicate regularly with leadership, clients, and project teams
Qualifications
· 8–15+ years of experience in commercial construction · Proven experience leading ground-up commercial projects · Strong ability to manage large crews and complex job sites · Deep understanding of construction sequencing and scheduling · Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications · Stable work history with reputable contractors · Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $115,000 – $145,000 per year (based on experience) · Competitive compensation package · Full benefits (health, dental, vision) · Company vehicle or vehicle allowance · Strong backlog of large-scale projects · Opportunity for advancement into executive roles
