Ready to kickstart your banking career and grow into a full-fledged Ag or Commercial Lender? This reputable, community-focused bank is looking for a Junior Loan Officer to work alongside experienced lenders and credit analysts while learning the ins and outs of relationship banking.

This role blends hands-on training, credit analysis exposure, and direct interaction with clients—setting you up for long-term success in commercial and agricultural lending.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support senior lenders in managing and growing Ag and Commercial loan portfolios

  • Participate in credit analysis, loan structuring, and underwriting processes

  • Assist with calling efforts to build new business and strengthen existing relationships

  • Help analyze applicants’ credit histories and repayment capacity

  • Learn bank policy, market trends, and regulatory requirements

  • Participate in community outreach and networking events to build your local presence

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field

  • Prior banking or internship experience preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills

  • Desire to build a long-term career in Ag or Commercial lending
