Ready to kickstart your banking career and grow into a full-fledged Ag or Commercial Lender? This reputable, community-focused bank is looking for a Junior Loan Officer to work alongside experienced lenders and credit analysts while learning the ins and outs of relationship banking.
This role blends hands-on training, credit analysis exposure, and direct interaction with clients—setting you up for long-term success in commercial and agricultural lending.
What You’ll Do:
Support senior lenders in managing and growing Ag and Commercial loan portfolios
Participate in credit analysis, loan structuring, and underwriting processes
Assist with calling efforts to build new business and strengthen existing relationships
Help analyze applicants’ credit histories and repayment capacity
Learn bank policy, market trends, and regulatory requirements
Participate in community outreach and networking events to build your local presence
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field
Prior banking or internship experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
Desire to build a long-term career in Ag or Commercial lending
