Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead business development efforts in the agriculture, manufacturing, and industrial construction sectors. This role is critical in identifying new market opportunities and fostering strong, long-term relationships with clients and industry influencers. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in driving revenue, expanding market reach, and representing the company at key industry events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive growth by identifying new market segments and business opportunities within the agricultural and industrial construction sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with current and potential clients, industry influencers, and partners.
- Represent the company at trade shows, customer events, and other industry functions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement market strategies.
- Promote the company's culture of safety, ensuring client and team engagement in safety practices.
- Manage travel schedules effectively in alignment with business development goals and budget.
- Support other departments as needed and assist with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience leading sales initiatives, preferably in the construction or agricultural industries.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt communication style and approach to achieve business results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to travel frequently by plane or car, with overnight stays as needed.
