Design Engineer

We are seeking a talented and driven Design Engineer to join our team in developing innovative heavy equipment solutions that serve industries around the world. This role is ideal for an engineer passionate about turning bold concepts into real-world machinery that drives performance and reliability in demanding environments.

As a key member of our Research & Development team, you will play a central role in new product development, from initial ideation and concept design to prototyping and production. You'll collaborate closely with a tight-knit, cross-functional team to design mechanical systems with integrated hydraulics, instrumentation, and electrical controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new heavy equipment products and system components for mining, waste management, wood processing, oil & gas, metal, and many other industries.
  • Apply knowledge of mechanical design, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and instrumentation to create robust, manufacturable solutions.
  • Support prototyping, testing, and iterative development of new technologies.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and field service teams to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Translate innovative ideas into detailed CAD models, drawings, and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in equipment design or related industry preferred.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor).
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic circuits, sensors, control systems, and structural design.
  • Passion for hands-on engineering, innovation, and problem-solving.
