Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor a $110 million commercial loan portfolio, ensuring strong asset quality and customer service.
  • Partner with Commercial Lenders to analyze new and existing credit relationships.
  • Perform annual reviews, covenant compliance monitoring, risk rating updates, and portfolio maintenance.
  • Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, collateral, and global debt service coverage.
  • Prepare detailed credit presentations and loan recommendations for management and loan committee approval.
  • Identify emerging credit risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate loan documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist lenders with relationship management, customer requests, renewals, modifications, and loan closings.
  • Communicate directly with business owners and commercial clients to gather financial information and support ongoing relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with credit administration, loan operations, and executive leadership to ensure efficient portfolio management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Agricultural Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of commercial banking experience in portfolio management, commercial credit analysis, underwriting, or commercial lending.
  • Strong understanding of commercial lending principles, financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, and loan structuring.
  • Experience working with commercial real estate, C&I, and agricultural lending is highly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with commercial loan systems and Microsoft Office applications
