Job Description

We are partnered with a law firm in Las Vegas seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic legal team. This position is ideal for an attorney with a strong civil litigation background, excellent research and writing skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the litigation process.

Key Responsibilities

• Defend clients on a wide range of civil litigation matters
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop effective case strategies
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements
• Advise clients on legal issues and guide them through all stages of the litigation process
• Appear at court hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings as required
• Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to ensure efficient case management

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience
• Strong knowledge of Nevada civil procedure and litigation strategies
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Superior research and analytical abilities
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
• Strong negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Client-focused approach to legal practice
