About the Role:
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to support the pharmaceutical and product liability litigation team. This position is heavily involved in the complex litigation matters, with a focus on preparing medical summaries — either chronologically or narratively — to assist attorneys in case analysis and strategy development.
Ideal Candidate:
An experienced paralegal with extensive background in medical record review and summarization, particularly in medical malpractice or healthcare-related litigation, will thrive in this role. Experience working on pharmaceutical or medical device cases is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed medical summaries from medical records, utilizing chronologic or narrative formats
- Assist attorneys in case intake, document management, and discovery processes
- Conduct legal and factual research as needed
- Draft, edit, and organize legal documents, briefs, and pleadings
- Coordinate with medical professionals and experts to gather relevant information
- Support trial preparation, including exhibit organization and deposition summaries
- Maintain case files and ensure timely compliance with deadlines
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as a paralegal in medical malpractice, healthcare law, or product liability litigation
- Proven ability to prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive medical summaries
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare records
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail
