Position Summary:
Theyare seeking a dedicated and organized Family Law Legal Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will support the family law attorneys by managing case files, assisting with client communications, handling pleadings and documents, and ensuring smooth case workflows. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, results-driven environment that values professionalism, attention to detail, and client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize family law case files and documents
- Draft and prepare pleadings, correspondence, and legal documents
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, court dates, and client calls
- Assist attorneys in trial preparation and administrative tasks
- Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and other parties
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the firm’s high professional standards
Qualifications:
- Prior experience supporting family law attorneys is preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Professional demeanor and a commitment to client service
