8+ Years Employment Litigation Attorney (Senior-Level) – Lexington, KY     

Seeking a Employment Litigation Associate with 8+ years of solid labor-and-employment law on the employer/manager defense side.  Candidate should have experience with litigation defense of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage-and-hour claims; contract litigation including non-compete/solicit and other restrictive covenant and unfair competition litigation; day-to-day HR advice and counsel for the employer.  Transactional experience is a plus, including drafting and negotiating employment contracts, contractor agreements, and severance and separation agreements   Superior client communication, writing, research, computer, and organizational skills are a must. Portable Book of Business is Required.

Background Requirements:

  • 8 Years minimum experience with labor and employment law as described above preferred.
  • Book of business required.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Kentucky.
  • Must be able to handle cases from inception to conclusion.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
