Personal Injury and/or Workers' Compensation Attorney
We are a prominent plaintiff-focused law firm in Chicago and we are seeking an experienced Personal Injury and/or Workers' Compensation Attorneys to join our litigation team. We are looking for professionals who are committed to advocating for injured clients with diligence, compassion, and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of personal injury or workers’ compensation cases from intake through settlement or trial.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare discovery.
- Represent clients in court, at depositions, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
- Maintain client relationships and keep clients informed on case progress.
- Collaborate with legal assistants and litigation teams to efficiently manage high caseloads.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Illinois and in good standing.
- Demonstrated litigation and negotiation experience in personal injury and/or workers’ compensation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong legal research and analytical abilities.
- Highly organized and able to manage a significant volume of active cases.
- Positive, collaborative attitude and respectful communication style.
- Strong motivation and commitment to client advocacy.
- Spanish fluency is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary between $100,000 - $200,000 depending on experience.
