Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' abilities, needs, and goals
- Designing and implementing engaging and purposeful activities to improve clients' functional skills
- Infusing therapy sessions with creativity and joy, incorporating games, crafts, music, and other exciting elements
- Assisting clients in developing and practicing daily living skills, sensory integration techniques, and adaptive strategies
- Collaborating with clients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans
- Monitoring and documenting clients' progress and adjusting interventions as necessary
- Educating clients and their families on techniques for enhancing independence and participation in daily activities
Requirements:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- A playful and lively personality that sparks joy in others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build connections with clients and their families
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, assessments, and treatment techniques
- Creativity and innovation in designing therapeutic activities and interventions
