Job Description

We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Employee Benefits Producer to fuel new business growth and build long-term client partnerships. This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional who enjoys working closely with clients to design customized, high-impact benefits solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow a profitable book of Employee Benefits business through new client acquisition and referral partnerships

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients by assessing needs and recommending comprehensive group benefits strategies

  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, marketing strategy, carrier negotiations, presentations, and closing

  • Partner with Account Managers and internal service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and exceptional ongoing service

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners to deliver competitive and innovative benefit solutions

  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and market changes impacting employee benefits

  • Actively participate in networking events, referral groups, and community outreach to expand market presence

  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, documentation, and reporting within the agency management system and CRM

  • Support client retention through renewals, strategic planning, and client review meetings as needed

  • Uphold a consultative, client-first approach focused on long-term relationships and sustainable growth

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Employee Benefits sales, production, or a related insurance role

  • Active Massachusetts Life & Health Insurance License

  • Strong knowledge of group medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits

  • Proven success in new business development and revenue generation

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

  • Highly self-motivated with strong time management and organizational abilities

  • Proficiency with agency management systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams
