Lead Superintendent (San Diego, CA)

A nationally ranked general contractor specializing in multifamily construction is actively seeking a Lead Superintendent to oversee large-scale projects in the San Diego market. This is a high-impact leadership role with a strong pipeline of complex, ground-up work.

Project Experience Required:

• Ground-up multifamily construction

• Podium and wrap-style apartment projects

• Large-scale mixed-use developments

• Experience leading projects from sitework through closeout

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on-site construction operations across multiple phases

• Manage and mentor field teams, including Superintendents and subcontractors

• Maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality standards

• Coordinate with Project Management and ownership teams

• Ensure safety compliance and site execution excellence

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience

• Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Superintendent on multifamily projects

• Strong leadership, scheduling, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage large, complex builds with multiple stakeholders

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive and flexible base salary (up to $230K for top candidates)
