Labor Law Associate

Client is seeking a midlevel Labor Associate with 4–6 years of experience to join its Labor Group. This role is all about labor law (not employment law), and we are looking for candidates with experience. 
 

Qualifications Include:

  • Minimum 4 years of dedicated management-side labor law experience.
  • First-chair experience in grievance arbitration matters
  • Demonstrated ability to manage matters independently and lead proceedings
  • Experience practicing before the NLRB, with first-chair hearing experience preferred
  • Spanish language skills preferred

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience:

  • Representing clients in grievance arbitration hearings, and unfair labor practice proceedings
  • Advising clients on union organizing campaigns
  • Supporting collective bargaining negotiations
  • Providing management training on the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA)
  • Collaborating with a national team of labor attorneys on complex matters
