Job Description

A growing and well-established law firm is seeking a Civil Defense Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking for hands-on litigation experience, strong mentorship, and long-term growth within a supportive and flexible environment.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a caseload of civil defense matters from inception through resolution

• Handle depositions, court appearances, and motion practice

• Draft pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions

• Communicate directly with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel

• Assist with trial preparation and strategy

Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil defense litigation experience

• Licensed to practice in North Carolina

• Experience with depositions, motion practice, and case management

• Ability to manage files independently while working within a team
