Litigation Associate in Newark

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Litigation Associateto join our growing team in our Newark, New Jersey headquarters.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of litigation experience, with a strong interest in real estate, construction, and commercial disputes

Responsibilities:

• Handle all phases of real estate and construction-related litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents
• Manage discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document production
• Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop and execute effective litigation strategies
• Provide thoughtful and practical legal advice to clients in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in New Jersey (New York and/or Pennsylvania admission a plus)
• 2–5 years of litigation experience (real estate or construction litigation preferred)
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently and collaboratively
