A well-established litigation boutique firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience handling all phases of commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in insurance defense and insurance coverage matters and be comfortable managing complex cases with a high degree of independence.
Licensure Requirements:
Active licenses in Missouri and Kansas required
Additional licensure in Arkansas is strongly preferred
Independently and collaboratively manage litigation files through all stages of the process
Conduct fact investigations and develop case strategy
Oversee document production and other discovery responsibilities
Prepare witnesses for deposition; take and defend depositions
Draft and revise pleadings, motions, and briefs
Review and analyze insurance policies, contracts, and other legal documents
Prepare for and participate in court hearings, including oral argument
Support trial teams, including preparation and examination of witnesses
Strong litigation background with demonstrated success in insurance matters
Confident handling complex files with limited oversight
Excellent writing, analytical thinking, and communication skills
Able to thrive in a collaborative boutique environment
