About the Opportunity: A respected law firm in Ohio is seeking a motivated Trust and Estates Attorney to join its growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 5-10 years of experience, preferably in Trust, estate and tax law. We are seeking individuals who are looking to take on meaningful responsibility and grow within an already expanding Law firm with a coducive collaborative environment. The firm is also open to candidates with strong experience from other practice areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estate Planning – Draft wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives.Draft and respond to written discovery
  • Trust Administration – Advise trustees on administering trusts, distributing assets, and fulfilling fiduciary duties.
  • Tax Planning – Develop strategies to minimize estate, gift, and income tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws.
  • Client Counseling & Legal Compliance – Advise individuals, families, and business owners on estate planning objectives, beneficiary designations, charitable giving, and changes in state and federal laws affecting their estate plans.
  • Probate & Estate Administration – Guide executors and personal representatives through the probate process, including asset distribution and creditor claims.

    Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Arkansas
  • Experience in estate Planning & Probate, Including drafting wills, trusts, power of attorney and handling estate administration.
  • Knowledge of Tax Law (estate, gift, fiduciary, and income tax planning.
  • Strong Legal Draftng & Analytical Skills with the ability to prepare sophisticated estate planning documents and interpret complex statues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
