Experienced Nursery Production Manager in Valley Center

Job Description

A people first driven nursery company is looking for an Experienced Nursery Production Manager to join their team. They offer competitive salaries based on experience and room for growth from within. Qualified candidates must have a background in greenhouse growing, nursery production and prior or current experience in a managerial role. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
• 3+ years of greenhouse growing experience in a managerial role
• Knowledge of perennials, annual bedding plants, flowers and more
• Full knowledge of fertilizers, chemicals, feeding, and water scheduling
• Proficient in Quick books, Excel, and Microsoft Word
• Must be detail oriented and highly organized
• Able to maintain professional relationships with clients and adhere to the company’s code of ethics
• Be proficient in both the wholesale and retail side of nursery operation’s
