Insurance Defense Attorney
A respected and well-established litigation firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to join its growing practice. What You’ll Do
- Represent insurance carriers and insureds through all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
- Handle matters involving general liability, professional liability, personal injury, and premises liability
- Develop litigation strategy, evaluate liability and damages exposure, and provide clear, timely reporting to clients and carriers
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement-related materials with precision and efficiency
- Collaborate with partners, claims professionals, and support staff to achieve favorable and timely outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- 2+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
- Experience with general liability, premises liability, personal injury, and/or professional liability matters
- Working knowledge of state and federal court procedures
- Strong research, writing, and client communication skills
- Ability to manage cases independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat; case management software experience is a plus
