ARCHITECT

MILWAUKEE, WI

A highly respected Design Build General Contractor in the Milwaukee Area, with a backlog of projects is seeking and Architect to join their growing team. This commercial construction company is looking for an Architect with excellent people skills and proven work history with commercial construction projects. Being a team player as well as being able to work autonomously is a must!

The Architect will play a large part in the client meetings, discussing their vision and bringing that to life. While providing the client with their dream project the Architect will also be responsible for modifying their design throughout the building process to maximize the structural integrity and cost savings.

This company prides itself on giving each and every one of their clients the best experience possible from planning to completion. This is a very important person that will work closely alongside leadership and management teams.

ARCHITECT RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with the design team and leadership to provide all necessary documents and information through the conceptual, schematic and detailed design phases
• Utilize computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans
• Assist in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications
• Engage with clients during the design phase

ARCHITECT QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.S. in Architecture
• AIA License
• Experience in Code and Compliance
• Ability to use AutoCAD with proficiency
• Ability to work autonomously or with a team in order to complete work in a timely manner
