Associate Attorney – Medical Malpractice (Plaintiff)
Location: Los Angeles, CA (In-Office)
Practice Area: Medical Malpractice / High-Value Settlement & Discovery
Compensation: $175,000 – $200,000 Base + bonus compensation
Looking for a high-earning, sophisticated litigation role without the unpredictability of a trial schedule? We are partnering on a confidential search for an elite California firm seeking an experienced Plaintiff Medical Malpractice Associate.
This firm offers a highly structured environment with a low caseload (12–16 cases per year) and top-tier support staff, allowing you to focus on strategic discovery and high-value settlements.
Lucrative Earning Potential: Competitive base salary paired with a direct 3.5% cut of attorney fees.
Low Caseload: Quality over quantity—oversee just 12–16 high-level cases annually.
No Trial Requirements: Focus on pre-trial strategy and negotiation; 99% of cases settle prior to trial.
Efficient Workflow: Conduct ~99% of depositions virtually from the office with full administrative support.
Oversee assigned medical malpractice cases through all discovery and negotiation phases.
Strategic case development and high-level virtual deposition practice.
Negotiate multi-million dollar settlements on behalf of plaintiffs.
Licensure: Active California State Bar membership in good standing.
Experience: 5+ years of litigation experience (Plaintiff or Defense background welcome).
Deposition Mastery: Proven elite deposition skills (sample transcripts will be requested during the process).
Work Style: In-office presence in Los Angeles with strong organizational abilities.
