Overview:
A highly respected law firm is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join their litigation support team. This role will focus on supporting attorneys handling personal injury, workers’ compensation, and social security disability insurance cases in both State and Federal Courts.

Key Responsibilities:
Draft and prepare legal correspondence, motions, and objections
Compile and organize medical evidence for hearings and trials
Assist with discovery and manage legal documents
File and serve legal documents using electronic court filing systems
Coordinate communications with clients, court staff, opposing counsel, and social security offices
Prepare case files for hearings and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
1–3+ years of law firm experience, preferably in litigation support
Experience handling personal injury or workers’ compensation files
Skilled in obtaining, reviewing, and organizing medical records
Familiarity with court rules, deadlines, and discovery requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal case management software (e.g., Filevine is a plus)
Excellent administrative, multitasking, and communication skills
High attention to detail and strong proofreading ability
Preferred Skills:
Experience communicating with insurance adjusters and scheduling medical evaluations
Working knowledge of social security disability case processes
