Job Snapshot

Job Description

Family Law Associate Attorney – Junior and Senior Openings
Location: San Antonio, TX

I am partnering with a well-respected Texas-based law firm that is adding two Family Law Associates to its San Antonio office: one junior attorney (recent grad, already barred in Texas) to work directly with one of the firm’s owners on sophisticated family law matters, and one senior attorney to independently manage a strong family law docket and help lead the practice.

This is a great fit for attorneys who want a more relaxed, client-centered environment without giving up complex work or a reputable platform.

What We Need

  • Junior role: Recently licensed Texas attorney (0–3 years) with a strong interest in family law, ready to work side-by-side with an owner on complex cases, drafting, hearings support, and client contact.

  • Senior role: 5+ years of Texas family law experience (strong 3+ will be considered), confident in the courtroom, able to run their own docket, and comfortable leading hearings, mediations, and trials.

  • Both: Strong communication and client skills, good judgment in emotionally charged situations, and an active Texas bar license in good standing.

What You’ll Get

  • Competitive base salary plus monthly performance bonuses.

  • Structured mentorship matched to your level, including strategy, client management, and practice development.

  • Direct collaboration with experienced family law attorneys, including an owner for the junior hire.

  • A reputable, locally rooted family law practice with a supportive culture and a partnership-track opportunity for the senior role.

If you’re a junior attorney barred in Texas looking for hands-on experience, or a seasoned Family Law Attorney seeking a long-term home, send your resume in confidence to Brian at Brian.Farley@gogpac.com or call/text (605) 403-5177.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
