Associate Attorney – Personal Injury & Workers’ Compensation

Location: Chattanooga, TN (also considering Birmingham, AL and Knoxville, TN)

A well-established Personal Injury firm is seeking entry-level Associate Attorneys (1–2 years’ experience) to join their Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury, and Non-Litigation departments. Workers’ Compensation experience or interest is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys in personal injury and workers’ compensation matters.
• Draft legal documents, review cases, and assist in negotiations and case management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, external counsel, and title/claims professionals.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed or eligible to practice in TN; additional state admissions a plus.
• 1–2 years of relevant legal experience; entry-level associates encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $75K base salary + performance-based bonus (~$25K potential)
• No billable hours
• Full-time, in-office schedule (Mon–Fri, 8:30–5:30); hybrid considered
