This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction leader who understands watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, excavation, and underground utility installation and knows how to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Supervise daily field operations and underground utility crews
  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors
  • Oversee installation of watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and related utilities

  • Monitor productivity and communicate progress to project management
  • Conduct daily pre-task planning and enforce company safety procedures
  • Assist with scheduling, material coordination, and project documentation
  • Train, develop, and hold field personnel accountable

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years of construction field experience, preferably in heavy civil or underground utilities
  • Previous experience as a Field Supervisor, Superintendent, Foreman, or similar leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of underground wet utilities, including watermain, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
  • Experience coordinating crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors
  • Strong understanding of excavation, trenching, grading, and utility installation
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions
  • Valid driver's license

WHY JOIN?

  • Established heavy civil and underground utility contractor
  • Stable work throughout Northern Indiana
  • Opportunity to take ownership of field operations
  • Work on municipal, commercial, and infrastructure projects
  • Career growth opportunities
  • Team-oriented work environment
  • Competitive compensation and benefits

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We're looking for a hands-on field leader, not someone who wants to sit behind a desk. The ideal candidate knows how underground utility projects are built, can lead a crew effectively, and can work closely with project management to deliver safe, high-quality work.

If you're ready to take the next step in your construction career and lead from the field, we'd like to talk with you.
