Controller – Heavy Civil Construction | Akron, OH

A well-established heavy civil contractor in the Akron area is looking to add a Controller to their team. With over 50 years in business and a strong, stable backlog, this is a company known for doing things the right way and taking care of its people.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations

• Manage job costing, WIP reporting, and financial forecasting

• Prepare and analyze financial statements

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

• Work closely with leadership to support business decisions

What They’re Looking For:

• Experience in construction accounting or finance

• Strong understanding of job costing and WIP schedules

• Ability to manage financial processes in a project-based environment

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and leadership skills
