A highly regarded Pinecrest law firm is seeking an experienced Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney to join its sophisticated Private Wealth Litigation practice. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a courtroom-focused environment and enjoys handling complex fiduciary disputes involving high-net-worth individuals and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle trust, estate, and probate litigation matters from inception through resolution
Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and legal memoranda
Conduct and defend depositions, evidentiary hearings, and mediations
Develop litigation strategy in contested probate, trust disputes, fiduciary misconduct claims, and undue influence matters
Work closely with clients, beneficiaries, fiduciaries, and expert witnesses
Manage deadlines, case calendars, and all aspects of active litigation
Participate in settlement negotiations, mediation preparation, and trial preparation
Qualifications:
2–6+ years of litigation experience, preferably focused on trust, estate, or probate litigation
Strong understanding of Florida probate rules, trust law, and civil procedure
Courtroom experience (motions, hearings, depos, mediations) strongly preferred
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload while collaborating with a team
Client-service oriented with strong communication and professionalism
