A highly regarded Pinecrest law firm is seeking an experienced Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney to join its sophisticated Private Wealth Litigation practice. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a courtroom-focused environment and enjoys handling complex fiduciary disputes involving high-net-worth individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle trust, estate, and probate litigation matters from inception through resolution

  • Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and legal memoranda

  • Conduct and defend depositions, evidentiary hearings, and mediations

  • Develop litigation strategy in contested probate, trust disputes, fiduciary misconduct claims, and undue influence matters

  • Work closely with clients, beneficiaries, fiduciaries, and expert witnesses

  • Manage deadlines, case calendars, and all aspects of active litigation

  • Participate in settlement negotiations, mediation preparation, and trial preparation

Qualifications:

  • 2–6+ years of litigation experience, preferably focused on trust, estate, or probate litigation

  • Strong understanding of Florida probate rules, trust law, and civil procedure

  • Courtroom experience (motions, hearings, depos, mediations) strongly preferred

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

  • Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload while collaborating with a team

  • Client-service oriented with strong communication and professionalism
