Director of Operations – Commercial Construction
A well-established and growing General Contractor is seeking a Director of Operations to lead and scale both field and office operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving performance across multiple commercial construction projects while partnering closely with executive leadership on overall business strategy.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams across multiple commercial projects
Drive operational efficiency, processes, and best practices company-wide
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
Collaborate with leadership on strategic growth and business planning
Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
What We’re Looking For:
10+ years of experience in commercial construction, with proven leadership experience
Background with a General Contractor overseeing ground-up and/or TI projects
Strong operational, financial, and team leadership skills
Experience with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)
Ability to lead multiple teams and projects in a fast-paced environment
