Quality Control Manager

Location: Cheyenne, WY

A respected, employee-owned commercial general contractor is looking to add a Quality Control Manager to its growing team. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee project-specific Quality Control Plans.
• Ensure all construction activities meet contract requirements, specifications, and industry standards.
• Perform daily quality inspections and coordinate testing and documentation.
• Identify deficiencies, track corrective actions, and verify successful resolution.
• Partner closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, owners, and design teams to maintain quality throughout construction.
• Prepare and maintain all required quality control reports, logs, and project documentation.
• Lead pre-installation meetings and quality planning efforts.
• Assist with project closeout, punch list completion, and final inspections.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction quality control experience.
• Experience on federal, healthcare, higher education, municipal, or other complex commercial projects is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods, building codes, and quality standards.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.
