Low Voltage Project Manager

Gpac is a national executive search firm specializing in recruitment for the electrical construction industry. We have been retained by a reputable electrical contractor to find a Low Voltage Project Manager to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage low voltage projects from pre-construction through closeout

  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure project success

  • Oversee scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and job cost tracking

  • Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure proper installation and compliance

  • Ensure materials and manpower are scheduled appropriately

  • Maintain all project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and billing

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality standards

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and lead project meetings as needed

  • Resolve project issues and proactively address challenges to stay on schedule and budget

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in low voltage project management

  • Strong understanding of structured cabling, fire alarm, access control, data/communications, or CCTV systems

  • Proven experience managing commercial or industrial low voltage projects

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office

  • Stable work history

  • Experience working with electrical contractors is a plus
