Job Description

Senior Safety Specialist-

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Safety Specialist to join a well-established, family-owned commercial construction company with a strong reputation throughout the Midwest. This firm is known for building some of the region’s most complex and impactful projects across healthcare, education, industrial, and commercial markets.

As a Senior Safety Specialist, you’ll be a key part of the team, ensuring a culture of safety across job sites and guiding both leadership and field teams in best practices. You’ll work closely with project teams, craft professionals, and clients to uphold high safety standards while supporting a proactive approach to risk management.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead safety efforts across multiple projects in the Janesville area and beyond.

  • Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to field staff and project teams.

  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and incident investigations.

  • Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.

  • Support continuous improvement in safety culture and performance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of construction safety experience, preferably with large commercial or industrial projects.

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • A proactive, hands-on approach to engaging with teams in the field.

  • ASP, CSP, CHST, or other safety-related certifications preferred.
