Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Drywall Estimator with 5+ years of experience in estimating drywall work on large commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in providing accurate cost estimates, preparing bid proposals, and working closely with project managers and teams to ensure the successful delivery of drywall components on large-scale commercial construction projects. Proficiency in drywall estimating software such as QuickBid, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), or similar is required for this position.
SKILLS:
Review and comprehend bid documents.
Prepare a complete quantity take-off, calculating equipment, labor, and material costs
Provide constructability comments and creative construction alternatives.
Prepare and submit proposals with detail specific clarifications, inclusions, and exclusions.
Administer change orders.
Support field operations.
Handle multiple project estimates on tight deadlines.
Track project data for historical productions and costs.
Be a Team Player that seeks and accepts performance feedback.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ten years or more as a Metal Framing and Drywall Estimator on commercial projects
Computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Essential to be proficient with On-Center software (QB/OST)
