A growing operation in Southern New Jersey is hiring a high-level, hands-on Building Maintenance Engineer to take full ownership of facility systems.
This is a critical role for someone who can work independently, troubleshoot complex mechanical systems, and keep operations running without disruption. Direct experience with O₂ coolers and industrial refrigeration is required.
What you’ll be responsible for
• Total facility maintenance across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• O₂ cooler system diagnostics, repair, and performance
• Industrial refrigeration system optimization and uptime
• Preventative and predictive maintenance programs
• Troubleshooting motors, controls, and 3-phase power
• Emergency repairs and minimizing downtime
• Vendor and contractor coordination
• OSHA and EPA compliance, safety leadership
• Maintenance documentation and reporting
• Capital equipment planning and lifecycle management
What you bring
• 7+ years of industrial or commercial maintenance experience
• Hands-on experience with O₂ coolers and refrigeration systems
• Strong electrical troubleshooting (3-phase systems, controls, motors)
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Preferred
• EPA Certification
• HVAC Certification
• Cold storage experience

Compensation and opportunity
• $85,000 – $145,000 depending on experience
