A respected California defense firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3 to 6 years of experience to join its Construction Defect practice group. This is a strong opportunity to handle complex litigation matters while gaining mentorship and growth opportunities within a supportive and established team.
Responsibilities
• Manage a caseload of construction defect defense matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
• Conduct depositions, hearings, and court appearances
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on strategy and case development
• Participate in trial preparation and, when appropriate, trial work
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the California State Bar
• 3 to 6 years of defense litigation experience, preferably with exposure to construction defect
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
• Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow in a specialized practice
Compensation and Benefits
• Salary range of $150,000 to $180,000 annually, depending on experience
