Job Title: CNC Machinist / Operator – Swiss & Multi-Axis
Location: Woburn, MA
Overview:
A precision manufacturer serving the medical and aerospace industries is seeking a CNC Machinist/Operator to join their team in Woburn. This role is ideal for a hands-on machinist who thrives in a collaborative, high-precision environment. You’ll be part of a 40-person site with the feel of a small shop, backed by the resources of a larger group.
What You’ll Do:
Set up, operate, and monitor Swiss CNC machines (Tsugami, Citizen) and other CNC equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T requirements
Work to close tolerances on aerospace and medical components
Inspect finished parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
Assist with troubleshooting setups and optimizing production runs
Maintain equipment, tooling, and a safe, clean work environment
Partner with engineers/programmers on process improvements
Support quality, delivery, and continuous improvement goals
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of CNC machining; Swiss experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with Tsugami or Citizen machines a plus
Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
Skilled in precision measurement and inspection practices
Basic CNC programming knowledge a plus (growth opportunity)
Detail-oriented and committed to high-quality work
