Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney: Fiduciary Disputes with Hybrid Flexibility in Santa Barbara

Our client, a highly respected Central Coast firm, is seeking a Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its Santa Barbara office. The team represents trustees, beneficiaries, and families in trust contests, will contests, breach of fiduciary duty claims, conservatorships, and elder financial abuse matters in probate court.

This is a hybrid position. You will split your week between the Santa Barbara office and home.

What You'll Do

• Handle trust and probate litigation from petition through trial or settlement
• Draft probate petitions, objections, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions and attend mediations
• Advise fiduciaries on administration disputes and accountings
• Work closely with estate planning colleagues on complex family matters

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the State Bar of California in good standing
• 3+ years of trust and estate litigation, probate, or civil litigation experience
• Familiarity with the California Probate Code
• Excellent writing, advocacy, and client relationship skills
• Comfort working on a hybrid schedule
