Litigation Associate Attorney

Toxic Tort | Asbestos | Silica Defense

An established litigation firm is seeking Litigation Associate Attorneys with 2 to 6 years of civil defense litigation experience to join its California practice. Opportunities are available within a sophisticated Toxic Tort litigation group. Attorneys with strong defense litigation experience who are interested in expanding into Toxic Tort are encouraged to apply, as prior experience in this practice area is not required.

This position offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters while receiving mentorship from experienced attorneys in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

  • Handle litigation matters through all phases of the case

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery

  • Conduct and defend depositions

  • Attend court appearances, mediations, and settlement conferences

  • Work closely with clients, experts, and senior attorneys

  • Develop litigation strategy on complex defense matters

Qualifications

  • Active California Bar license

  • 2 to 6 years of litigation experience following bar admission

  • Civil defense litigation experience preferred

  • Interest in developing expertise in Toxic Tort litigation

  • Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills

  • Ability to independently manage litigation matters while collaborating with a team
