Job Description

We are partnered with a growing A&E firm that's seeking a seasoned Architectural Project Manager to lead complex architectural projects from concept through completion. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and maintain strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate has a passion for innovative design, a deep understanding of construction methods, and demonstrated experience delivering successful projects across their core market sectors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the architectural design and delivery of projects in the Industrial, Retail, and Commercial/Workplace sectors

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors throughout all project phases

  • Coordinate internal team efforts and ensure project schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met

  • Prepare and oversee the development of construction documents, permitting, and bidding processes

  • Review code compliance, building systems integration, and technical documentation

  • Mentor and support junior staff with professional development and technical guidance

  • Participate in project pursuits and proposal development as needed


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional experience in architecture, including project management responsibilities

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution

  • CA Architect License required

  • Strong experience managing projects in at least one of the following sectors: Industrial, Retail, Commercial/Workplace

  • Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management software

  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills

  • Knowledge of California building codes, ADA, and permitting processes

  • Ability to travel locally for project meetings and site visits
