Job Title: Foreman – Heavy Civil Construction
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Foreman to lead crews on heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience supervising field teams on projects involving roadway construction, underground utilities, and excavation/earthmoving. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to deliver high-quality results in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead construction crews on roadway, underground utility, and excavation projects.
Ensure all work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with project plans and specifications.
Coordinate daily activities, assign tasks, and monitor crew performance.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and inspectors to resolve issues in the field.
Maintain accurate daily reports and communicate progress to management.
Train and mentor crew members to promote skill development and safety awareness.
Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of experience leading crews in heavy civil construction.
Strong knowledge of roadway construction, underground utilities, and excavation/earthmoving.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license required.
