Commercial Real Estate Attorney: 8+ Years’ Experience
Location: Oak Brooke (Hybrid options available)
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $115,000 – $140,000 (commensurate with experience) + performance-based bonuses

Overview: We are a respected and growing law firm, seeking a seasoned Commercial Real Estate Attorney with 8+ years of broad transactional real estate experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collegial and collaborative team with a strong focus on sophisticated, hands-on work in a thriving commercial real estate practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate real estate contracts and leases across various asset classes
  • Manage all aspects of retail development projects for developers
  • Handle zoning, entitlement, and land use matters
  • Lead commercial acquisitions and dispositions
  • Conduct due diligence, including title and survey review
  • Negotiate and close complex financing and loan documentation transactions

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial real estate law
  • Strong background in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, zoning/entitlements, construction, and finance
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills
  • Personable, articulate, and a team-oriented mindset
  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois (or eligible for admission)
