A well-established and growing Civil Contractor is seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join their team in the Atlanta, GA area. This role is key to supporting strategic project planning, cost analysis, and bid preparation for large-scale utility and heavy civil projects.
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed estimates as a Civil Estimator, including quantity take-offs, self-perform cost analysis, subcontractor/vendor scopes, scheduling, and risk evaluation.
Develop and execute markup and risk management strategies tailored to Civil Estimator roles.
Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, agencies, and clients to gather pricing and scope details.
Maintain strong industry relationships to support project acquisition and company growth.
Utilize industry-standard estimating tools, including B2W Estimate, Agtek, Bluebeam.
Work in a hybrid environment, supporting bid projects both remotely and in-office.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years of estimating experience in Civil Estimator roles within the Civil construction sector.
Strong understanding of estimating processes and construction sequencing.
Field experience is a plus.
Proficiency in B2W Estimate, Agtek, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam is preferred.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
