A well respected commercial construction firm in the Greater Detroit area is seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads confidently, and delivers high-quality results.
Position Overview
We’re looking for a Project Manager with 5+ years of experience overseeing diverse commercial projects from start to finish. The right candidate is detail-driven, proactive, and skilled at managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of commercial construction projects
Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and site progress
Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and field teams
Lead meetings, review plans, and process RFIs/Change Orders
Ensure safety, quality, and deadlines are met
Maintain strong communication and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
5+ years of commercial project management experience
Experience with diverse commercial projects (retail, office, healthcare, industrial, municipal, restaurant, education, etc.)
Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and financial controls
Ability to lead multiple projects and collaborate with field teams
Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar)
