Compactor & Baler Mechanic

Field Service | Waste & Recycling

We are hiring a Compactor & Baler Mechanic to service and repair equipment at customer locations including restaurants, retail stores, apartments, and commercial sites. This is a field-based role with daily travel.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair trash compactors and recycling balers
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues
• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs)
• Complete service calls and maintain work orders
• Communicate with customers on repairs and timelines

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, heavy equipment, or industrial repair
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems
• Welding is a plus
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Valid driver’s license required
